We were right in between Williamsburg and Busch Gardens: 10 minutes away from both, and a straight shot on route 60. There are plenty of restaurants and fast-food places close by. The room rates were competitive.
The pool was small, but fine for kids. The only ice machine was across the parking lot. We did not plan on spending a lot of time at the hotel, so the accommodations met our needs.

The people in the office were very pleasant.
My six year old granddaughter and I were woken at 6:15am by a yelping, barking dog followed by a man yelling "shut the hell up" over and over. We quickly got dressed after a half hour of this and went to breakfast at a restaurant that was recommended by the motel which did not have public bathrooms! Not a great experience all the way around!

Staff tried to correct some of the motel issues and voluntarily gave me half my money back. Pets allowed.
Was given key to an occupied room and walked in on occupants after midnight. When corrected, I was given an extremely dirty and crumbling room; ceiling was falling in and pieces of it were on bed. Thick dust on furniture; water stains on room mirror from ceiling leak. Pet hair and human hair everywhere (walls, floor, sink); toilet seat was stained and broken; wallpaper peeling and moldy; TV did not work; sink light broken; no towels in room. Very strong musty odor. Carpet, pillows and mattress stained.
